９０年代のロックとロック・バラードのプレイリストです。
むかしロックのバラードにはより深い味わいがあると思っていたものでしたが、まあ何かしら当を得ているかと。

ブレード・ランナーにちなんで

　京都であれローマであれ、古都の伝統美は自然的であると同時に非常に幾何学的で整備されている。（自然的であるのはひとつには近代前には常に石や木のような自然物が素材のすべて、ないしほとんどだったからである。）しかし現代においては整備されてきた都市においてよりも、むしろ「猥雑」な発展途上国の景観のほうに生命力があるのではないかと感じている人もすくなくない。どこかで日本の映像作家が、「今の東京には何のなつかしさもない。昔の東京には佇んでいたい瞬間があった」と言っていたのを記憶する。また、「八百万（やおよろず）の神も東京のつやびかりする明るすぎるところよりむしろ貧民窟みたいなところに宿るのではなかろうか」と表現していた方もあった。　結局こうした問題においてはビジョンのもっている力が大きい訳でもあるし参照のビデオクリップを貼付したい。これはつまり映像の作家がここで言っているような事に動かされてつくったビジョンなのであろう。
　ひとつは映画「攻殻機動隊」から。これは日本よりアジアのイメージを選び取った、ということだろうが、たぶん中国の要素が主であろう。
　しかしこのことにおいてはリドリー・スコット監督の有名な「ブレード・ランナー」が独自な先駆であった。バビロン的な異文化の混交するイメージのなかにアジアがあった。
（もっともここではスクリーンに「芸者」が登場するだけだが。ふるい版のサウンド・トラックには三味線入りの邦楽が入っている。）

The traditional beauty of ancient cities like Kyoto, or rome, is natural and at the same time highly geometric and orderd (One reason for its naturality is that before the modern time all or almost all of used materials was natural things like wood, and stone). But in modern time some people seem to feel that rather than well-ordered cities, the "sordid" scenes in the developing countries contain the vitality. I remember, in somewhere a japanese visual creater said "I feel no nostalgia forTokyo of today anymore, while back then in Tokyo there were moments in which you just feel like standing there still. " Another person described , "I suppose not in glossy and too bright areas of Tokyo, rather in places like slums dwell the spirits. " And after all on this kind of problem the power of the vision is big, so I'd like to paste here some video clips. These are probably the visions that the creaters of visual have made, being moved by something here described.
The first one is from "Ghost in the shell". I guess it would be that they chose the image of Asia, insted of Japan. The main element is probably China.
But on this subject famous "Blade Runner" of Ridley Scott was original and a forerunner. In babylon-like image of cultural mixture, there was Asia.
